President, has been a part of the mold building
industry since 1967. He began as an apprentice tool and die maker. After
attaining journeyman/leader status in mold making, he was promoted to mold shop
foreman. Greg became a shop manager in 1991. In 1992 he moved on to estimating
and project management. In the years since 1992 Greg has taken on the duties of
Operations Manager, Technical Sales, Engineering Manager and Executive Vice
President. Greg began Westool on January 1, 1999
Greg Sheckler, gsheckler@westools.com
Engineering/Data Manager, has been a mold designer
since 1988 . His duties have included scheduling
workflow, through design and manufacturing, outsource management, conceptual
design, complex surface modeling, cutterpath generation and CMM
programming. Greg has experience in all types of plastic molds as well as
special machine design. His software
experience is SABRE, Euclid 3, Strim products, Work NC, Solutions 3000 (AutoSurf/AutoMill,
Camax Manufacturing Expert), Iges Works, Cadkey, Catia, and AutoCad. Greg
graduated from the University of Toledo's Mechanical Engineering program.
Dave Hartman, dhartman@westools.com
Sales/Program Manager,
has been in the industry
since 1968. In March of 1994, Dave left the shop floor to accept a position in
project management. Dave’s experience with the tool and die industry covers a
wide variety of tools including compression, RIM, RTM, blow, vacuum and
injection molds. Dave possesses a strong knowledge of mold building and project
management techniques for all types of products from appliance to aerospace.
Dave is a journeyman tool and die maker and has as associate degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Lloyd Hammons, lhammons@westools.com
Sales/Program Manager, started his career as an model maker in 1967. He worked as a journeyman model maker until 1987
when he accepted a position as a quality control inspector. Lloyd was an inspector
until October 1994, when he moved to a project manager/estimator position. Lloyd
has a broad knowledge of the molding industry as well as quality control,
geometric dimensioning and tolerance, and product design and application.
Sharon Bringman, sbringman@westools.com
Office Manager, has been working in mold shops
all her business career. She has a strong background in purchasing,
accounting and document control. She is also the nicest person you will
ever meet.
